Just finished this painting of lock 27e on the Huddersfield narrow canal, had loads of fun painting this one but must say at the start i thought it was not working but got there at the end.

Running late is a totally fictitious scene painted from my mind with not picture reference of a working canal narrow boat heading for the near by village before it gets too dark.

 

Painted in acrylics as always, size is 10x14 on canvas board.
