First New Painting of 2017

Sorry for not posting any new paintings over the last year or so, truth is i have not painted any .
Anyway , feeling a bit better in myself now first time in about 3 years since the heart attack so i am back painting and the first one is this one.
A repaint of llangollen   near Chirk.

 Looks better on the photo than it really does, not sure I will be using them again .May just stick with Acrylic's

Had a go with pastels.....and liked them !!!!!!

Well below is my very first attempt with pastels, was great fun as well despite not having a clue where to start .
I did enjoy painting with them very much and just maybe i will be staying with them for quite some time, so, you will definitely see some more pastel paintings here very soon.

Pastels used are Toison d'or soft round.
