This painting was delivered to the incorrect address by the couriers , the owners of that address have failed to notify the couriers of this and kept the painting . Life Down the Mill is a fantasy painting, it does not exist .. well I don't think it does. Got the idea for this painting from a selection of photos then put parts of each photo down on my secret sketch pad which is where most of my paintings start life. The painting took shape slowly but after a  few minor changes from the sketch it soon got under way. Painted with the highest artists paints to leave a rich colour of high light fastness

This was painted in the studio from a selection of photos i had , first i did drawings from the photos then put them altogether on paper then painted on canvas board. I went for the old style look which i think turned out rather well.
Again, painted in acrylic paints on 10x14  canvas board.
