New painting just finished, no title as yet ! this one as with the one below was painted from my imagination again . Not two pleased with the rocks / stones by the river so i think i will change that part of the painting.

It is funny / strange how things happen.
A few days ago i was stuck as to what to paint after i finished painting Newton Creek, looking through books & magazines to get ideas for the next painting my mind was totally blank .
After a day or so this scene just came into my head so i quickly made a pencil sketch on paper just so i could look back when i start.
The next day i started the painting but then i thought this is a bit unusual , everything was going just right all the way through the painting and i had this strange feeling that someone was behind me all the time i was working this .
The strange thing is it is not my usual style !! .
Maybe a artist of the past came to paint just one more time.

Painted in acrylics in the style of Contemporary Realism, 14x10 on Board. Had a lot of fun painting this one and as you can see it turned out nice and bright /sunny . Painted from photograph which was taken on holiday in the caravan. Hope you like it.

Damens station is on the Keighley Worth Valley Railway in Yorkshire, Damens station is not quite like this but although i painted the station as it is today i did change the surrounding trees just a bit to make one dramatic painting. 

The painting is painted in many lairs of glazes then varnished in semi gloss varnish to bring out the depth of colour within the painting.
